About Jennifer

Jennifer Berardo concentrates her practice in land use, redevelopment, zoning, real estate, civil and commercial litigation, and outdoor advertising. She has represented various residential, commercial and industrial developers in connection with necessary governmental approvals throughout the State of New Jersey. Jennifer handles all aspects of land entitlements, including lease negotiations, land acquisitions/divestitures, preparation of development applications and presentation of same before local, county and state governmental agencies.

Jennifer has also assisted various outdoor advertising companies in obtaining both state and local approvals, as well as pursuing associated litigation and appeals. In addition, she has filed state licensing and permit applications, negotiated outdoor advertising leases and contracts, and resolved company-landlord leasing disputes.

After graduating law school, Jennifer served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas J. LaConte, J.S.C. in Passaic County.  While serving as law clerk she focused on civil litigation, complex environmental, and complex business litigation matters. Jennifer assisted the Judge in crafting legal opinions regarding the dispositions of pre and post-trial motions. As a judicial law clerk, she was certified as a mediator and successfully settled numerous matters before the Superior Court.

Jennifer received her law degree from New England Law | Boston, where she served as Treasurer to the Public Interest Law Association and Student Ambassador to the Admissions Office. Jennifer graduated from Boston University School of Management with a degree in Business Administration and a concentration in Finance.
