Noteworthy Spring/Summer 1999

Congratulations are in order for partner, Jim Jaworski. On June 17, 1999, he assumed the Presidency of the Bergen Highlands/Ramsey Rotary Club. Tom Wells, President of the Paramus Rotary Club in 1989 and 1990, is now President-Elect of the Bristol, Vermont Rotary Club where he will serve as President next year.
Partner, Cheryl Morrissey, has been active in the Bergen County Inns of Court for seven years, first as a pupil, then as a Barrister (teacher), has now been selected for the Inns of Court Coordinating Committee.

Partner, Cheryl Morrissey and Associate, Jim Maggio, recently gave a program on negotiation for the New Jersey Builders Association where Partner, Jim Jaworski, serves as counsel.

Partner, Stuart Liebman, who has served on ArtsPower, a northern New Jersey based provider of quality theatrical and musical productions for educational institutions, as its President since 1993, recently received a Star Award at a special performance of ArtsPower. The Star Award was presented to Stuart in recognition of his outstanding service to this organization. Stuart was also recently named a Director of Temple Beth Sholom in Fair Lawn, where he is also the new Vice President of Fund-Raising.

Associate, Linda Herlihy, is one of the three faculty presenters in an up-coming National Business Institute seminar on the land use planning and eminent domain in New Jersey. You can read Linda’s article in this issue of Legal Update on “Partial Takings”. The seminar will be held on August 24, 1999 at the Ramada Hotel in Rochelle Park.
