About Gary

Gary S. Poplaski practices in the Real Estate Department, the Business, Corporate & Commercial Department and the Tax, Trusts & Estate Planning Department with the firm.  He focuses in the areas of commercial and residential real estate including leasing, sale and purchase closings and commercial lending representing various lenders as well as Will preparation, Healthcare Proxies and Living Wills, Power of Attorneys, Trust Instruments, and Estate Planning and Estate Administration.  Gary assists clients with business agreements, contract preparation and review, sale and acquisition of businesses, corporate and business entity formations, and non-profit entity formations. He also has intellectual property and information technology experience representing companies and individuals in trademark and copyright matters as well as licensing, non-compete, and non-disclosure agreements.

 

Prior to joining Wells, Jaworski & Liebman, LLP, Gary practiced at a prominent Roseland law firm in the Real Estate, and Trusts and Estates Departments, and with a large Wall Street firm in the Intellectual Property Department.  Gary also acted as Special Prosecutor in the Municipalities of Bergenfield and Washington Township for motor vehicle violations and various non-indictable criminal offenses, and he worked as a Registered Investment Advisor, General Securities Representative and Financial Planner with Life & Health, Property & Casualty licenses and FINRA Series 6, 7, 63 & 65 securities licenses in multiple States.

Gary is a member of the Executive Board of Directors, Membership Chairman, and Legal Counsel for the Paramus Regional Chamber of Commerce, member of the Bergen County Bar Association, Estate Planning Council of Bergen County, and the Paramus Rotary Club. He is also the Founder and Past President of the Paramus Girls Soccer Association.

Gary graduated, magna cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1993.  He graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1997 and he is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

Gary lives in Paramus with his wife, Mary, and their three daughters.
