About Matthew
T. Matthew Wolfe II is an associate at Wells, Jaworski & Liebman, LLP, in its Tax, Trusts, and Estates, as well as Business, Corporate & Commercial Departments. He offers strategic counsel to both businesses and individuals in areas such as trusts and estate planning, family wealth transfer, charitable giving, retirement distribution planning, and trust and estate administration.
Before joining the firm, Matthew practiced estate planning with various firms in both New Jersey and Idaho, where managed a diverse client portfolio, dealing with a wide range of cases. His experience includes assisting individuals in creating 501c3 organizations, facilitating emergency business transitions after the owner’s passing, resolving complex family matters to ensure decedents’ wishes were upheld, and developing succession plans for multimillion-dollar family businesses.
While pursuing his law degree at Concordia University School of Law in Boise, Idaho, he interned at the United States Attorney’s Office, District of Idaho, and the 4th Judicial District in Boise, gaining valuable experience in Federal Court appearances and trial preparation.
Matthew is a military veteran, having served in the Army National Guard as an intelligence analyst. While earning his Master of Laws degree from Boston University, he interned at Veterans Legal Services in Boston. Additionally, he served as the Chair of the Idaho Military Legal Alliance from 2017 to 2022.
